Rosie specialises in working with pupils with ASD, especially children who are just beginning to communicate. Rosie really enjoys delivering training courses to staff and parents and is a qualified Makaton Regional Tutor.

Gem has been a Speech Therapist for over 10 years and before she joined Aspire in 2022 she worked in both mainstream and SEN schools. Gem specialises in working with pupils with Autism, Selective Mutism and Sensory Feeding Difficulties. Gem also enjoys delivering training, and working with newly qualified teachers to support them to develop their skills.
Lou - Speech and Language Therapy Assistant
Lou started working at Aspire in 2020, as a Teaching Assistant. Lou has previously worked in mainstream primaries, delivering Speech and Language Interventions. As well as providing therapy to the pupils at Aspire, Lou has had specialist training in designing and making communication books, which is a skill she uses regularly. Lou is also Makaton trained and helps run the Makaton Choir.
Katherine - Speech and Language Therapy Assistant
Katherine has been at Aspire since it opened, originally working as a Teaching Assistant. She now works part time in the Therapy team delivering speech sound and language interventions across the school. Katherine is responsible for tracking pupil's progress with their therapy targets.
At Aspire, we have 2 Therapists and 2 Therapy Assistants, directly employed by the school. There is at least one therapist and one therapy assistant on site every day, and you can contact us by calling or emailing the school office.
