School Council
At Aspire School, we have a School Council who are heavily involved in driving our vision forward. We meet once a term, and representatives bring their thoughts to Senior Leadership at regular sessions throughout the year.
Our agendas are built through parental feedback, student and staff suggestions, as well as strands from our School Development Plan.
We promote British Values throughout everything we do.:
Democracy
Our voting system allows for us all to have a voice, and ensure that we all feel valued.
Rule of Law
We discuss 'Right and Wrong', encouraging all of our students to work out specific green and red Class Dojo points which can be applied across all classrooms.
Individual Liberty
Our anti-bullying culture which is pivotal to the work we do in School Council encourages speaking out, supporting our students self-esteem, as well as knowledge of the school environment, and their peers. Our work over the past year across the Trust Parliament has allowed us to have a positive and lasting impact on the wellbeing of students from across all four schools.
Mutual Respect and Tolerance
We respect and tolerate each other's views through democratic processes and meaningful discussion.
Please contact Ryan in Idowu class if you would like to join School Council!
